We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst / Account Analyst to support financial and business analysis, account reconciliation, and reporting activities. The ideal candidate should possess a strong accounting foundation, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to interpret data to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Perform account and business analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial and operational data

•⁠ ⁠Review, reconcile, and monitor general ledger and related accounts

•⁠ ⁠Analyze trends, variances, and unusual transactions, and provide actionable insights

•⁠ ⁠Prepare financial and business reports for management review

•⁠ ⁠Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis

•⁠ ⁠Support monthly closing, reporting, and audit preparation

•⁠ ⁠Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data summaries

•⁠ ⁠Liaise with internal departments and external parties (auditors, banks, vendors) when required

•⁠ ⁠Maintain proper documentation and supporting schedules

Requirements

•⁠ ⁠Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

•⁠ ⁠Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in business analysis, finance, accounting, or related functions

•⁠ ⁠Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

•⁠ ⁠Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, formulas)

•⁠ ⁠Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

•⁠ ⁠Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work independently

•⁠ ⁠Good communication skills and ability to present findings clearly

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

•⁠ ⁠Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, or BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)

•⁠ ⁠Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and KPI analysis

•⁠ ⁠Audit exposure is an advantage

•⁠ ⁠Familiarity with SQL or data analysis tools is a plus
