Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead test execution for end-to-end data migration , ETL , and data transformation processes during SIT.
• Provide support for UAT , Parallel Runs , and Production deployments .
• Validate data accuracy , schema mapping , and consistency across source and target systems.
• Execute performance and regression testing to verify platform scalability and migration stability.
• Build and maintain automation test scripts where applicable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers , data engineers , and cloud architects , to resolve issues and optimize system performance.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Align testing goals with business and project stakeholders.
• Provide timely updates on testing progress, defect reports, and risk assessments.
• Continuously drive improvements in testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies.

Required Skills Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software testing, including 3+ years in data migration projects .
• Proven expertise in cloud data platforms such as Databricks , BigQuery , Snowflake , Synapse , or Redshift .
• Familiarity with legacy platforms like Hadoop , Teradata , and SAP BW .
• Strong hands-on experience with ETL validation , data reconciliation , and performance benchmarking .
• Proficiency in SQL , Python , and other scripting languages for test automation and data validation.
• Experience with tools like Selenium , PyTest , JMeter , and data quality tools.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS , Azure , GCP ) or testing standards (e.g., ISTQB ).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies , JIRA , Confluence , and CI/CD pipelines .
• Understanding of DataOps practices and modern testing workflows.
