Our Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America are looking for Consultants to be part of the project
The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.
The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.
The selected resource will be working in a newly setup technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.
Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and maintain ETL solutions using Informatica to support enterprise data warehouse initiatives.
Design and implement data mappings, transformations, data models, and data marts.
Develop and optimize ETL workflows for Teradata, Hadoop, and Oracle environments.
Perform data profiling, validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to understand business and technical requirements.
Support data warehouse implementation, testing, deployment, and production releases.
Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data extraction and transformation.
Troubleshoot ETL failures, identify root causes, and implement resolutions.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
Prepare technical documentation for ETL processes and data mappings.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-quality data solutions.
Follow SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices during project delivery.
Skills
Must have
3–5 years of experience in ETL/Data Warehouse development.
Informatica Certification with hands-on development experience.
Certification in at least one additional technology such as Teradata DB or Hadoop Hive, along with Oracle backend knowledge.
Strong hands-on experience with Informatica ETL development.
Experience with Teradata, Hadoop, or Oracle databases.
Strong knowledge of data mapping, data modeling, data profiling, and data marts.
Experience in SQL development and query optimization.
Experience working with Linux/Unix/Windows environments.
Banking domain experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

AI/ML exposure.
Power BI, Qlik Sense, Splunk, Python, R Studio.
DB2 and AS400.
QuerySurge, Control-M.

Agile, DevOps, and SDLC practices.
