Software Quality Engineer

Shape Quality at the Heart of Modern Software Delivery

We're looking for a Software Quality Engineer who doesn't just find bugs — who builds confidence in every release. You'll own the quality narrative across the full development lifecycle, designing smart test strategies, driving automation, and collaborating closely with developers and business stakeholders to ship software that just works.

What You'll Own

• Test Strategy & Design — Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts that cover both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Automation at Scale — Design, build, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium and Cucumber BDD.

• End-to-End Quality — Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing with rigour.

• Shift-Left Quality — Participate in requirement reviews and enforce quality gates at every stage of the SDLC.

• Defect Ownership — Track and manage defects from discovery through to resolution. No hand-offs, no gaps.

• Continuous Improvement — Spot coverage gaps, recommend process enhancements, and help cultivate a team culture where quality is everyone's job.

What You Bring -

Test Automation

Hands-on experience writing and maintaining automated scripts with Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber BDD

Low-Code Advantage

Familiarity with OutSystems 11

— its lifecycle, debugging tools, and testing nuances is a strong plus

DevOps Mindset

Comfortable with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and integrating automated testing into delivery workflows

Tooling

Experience with Jira, Zephyr, or similar test management platforms

Methodology

Solid grounding in Agile and Scrum

Communication

Ability to translate technical issues clearly for both engineering and business audiences

Mindset

Proactive, adaptable, solutions-focused — you flag risks early and own your outcomes

Nice to Have:

• ISTQB certification or equivalent
• A diploma or degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
