Role Description The Network Engineer – Juniper MIST role is a contract, on-site position based in Greater Kuala Lumpur. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure with a focus on Juniper MIST solutions, ensuring performance, stability, and security across client environments. Day-to-day tasks include configuring and managing network devices, monitoring network health, troubleshooting incidents, and resolving connectivity and performance issues. The Network Engineer will collaborate with internal teams and clients to support network deployments, document configurations and processes, and contribute to continuous improvement of network standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Network Administration and hands-on experience managing enterprise network environments.
• Proficiency in Network Engineering and Network Design, including planning, implementing, and optimizing network architectures.
• Solid Troubleshooting capabilities to diagnose and resolve complex network issues efficiently.
• Knowledge of Network Security principles and practices to maintain secure and compliant infrastructures.
• Practical experience with Juniper MIST or similar cloud-managed networking platforms.
• Familiarity with routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLANs) and wireless network technologies.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., JNCIA, JNCIS, CCNA, or equivalent) are advantageous.
• Ability to work on-site in Greater Kuala Lumpur, communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders, and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
