YOUR MISSION

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for building and operating secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure platforms that support the deployment of JurisTech products.

Your focus will be on ensuring that the infrastructure and platform services you design are efficient, stable, observable, and aligned with JurisTech’s product delivery and customer hosting requirements across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

1. Infrastructure and Platform Engineering
2. Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure services across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments, including compute, networking, storage, and container platforms.
3. Build and manage Kubernetes-based platforms to support the deployment and operations of JurisTech applications.
4. Standardize infrastructure components and platform capabilities to improve scalability, reliability, and operational consistency.
5. Kubernetes and Container Platform Operations
6. Manage and optimize Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters in production and non-production environments.
7. Implement platform capabilities such as backup and recovery, logging, monitoring, tracing, debugging, and cluster health management.
8. Ensure containerized workloads are deployed in a way that supports high availability, scalability, resilience, and performance.
9. CI/CD and Automation
10. Build and improve CI/CD pipelines covering build, test, release, and deployment workflows.
11. Drive infrastructure and platform automation using Git, scripting, Infrastructure as Code, and GitOps practices.
12. Work closely with development teams to streamline application deployment, release processes, and environment readiness.
13. Observability and Reliability
14. Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability stacks using tools such as Grafana, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, and related technologies.
15. Monitor system health, usage, performance, and reliability across infrastructure and application environments.
16. Troubleshoot production issues and conduct root cause analysis to improve system resilience and operational maturity.
17. Security and Compliance
18. Integrate security best practices into infrastructure and platform design, including access control, secrets management, encryption, patching, and hardening.
19. Support compliance and governance requirements expected in environments serving financial institutions and regulated clients.
20. Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure infrastructure controls align with security and audit expectations.
21. Documentation and Continuous Improvement
22. Document platform architecture, configurations, operational procedures, and deployment standards.
23. Continuously evaluate emerging tools and technologies that can improve platform performance, security, cost efficiency, and maintainability.
24. Contribute to internal standards and best practices for cloud infrastructure and platform engineering.
25. Collaboration
26. Collaborate with software engineers, implementation teams, support teams, and architects to ensure JurisTech applications can be deployed and operated effectively across customer environments.
27. Support internal and client-facing technical teams with infrastructure-related troubleshooting and deployment guidance where needed.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You are someone who:

• Has 4 – 6 years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, platform engineering, SRE, or DevOps-related work.
• Has hands-on experience with Linux administration and shell/bash scripting.
• Has experience managing Kubernetes or OpenShift clusters in production or pre-production environments.
• Is familiar with CI/CD pipelines, version control using Git, and automation practices.
• Understands containerization, orchestration, and infrastructure operations in modern application environments.
• Has experience working with hybrid infrastructure environments, including cloud and on-premise setups.
• Can troubleshoot and optimize the performance, reliability, and availability of infrastructure platforms.
• Has exposure to observability tools such as Grafana, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, or equivalent tools.
• Understands foundational security practices in infrastructure environments, including access management, encryption, and secure configuration.
• Communicates well and can work cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams.
• [Advantage] Experience with GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
• [Advantage] Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• [Advantage] Exposure to public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• [Advantage] Experience supporting software platforms used by banks, lenders, or regulated enterprises.
• [Advantage] Familiarity with high-availability deployments, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.

Successful candidates will be required to work at Bangsar South area and may be required to travel as and whenever required.
