Senior Analog Mixed-Signal Layout Design Engineer

Location: Penang, Malaysia

Job Requirements:

• Complete complex layout design of analog and mixed signal circuits.
• Own major blocks of the custom IP in high-speed serial/parallel interface
• Work with analog circuit designer to design and layout custom circuit, analog and mixed-signal circuits from sub-blocks to top-level integration and verification
• Perform physical design verifications (LVS/DRC/ERC)
• Collaborate with analog circuit designers to optimize layout implementation for better power, performance, and area

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Experience with schematic-driven layout, floor planning, chip level routing, design rule and physical verification and chip integration.
• Good understanding of critical device matching, high-speed signals layout techniques,
• Good Knowledge of CAD tools (Cadence Virtuoso, Custom Compiler, Mentor Calibre DRC/LVS/ERC and etc)
• Must have good analysis and trouble shooting skills.
• Should be able to work independently, self-motivated, has a good team spirit, a strong sense of responsibility and urgency, a creative problem solver
