Tanggungjawab

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and perform First Article Inspection (FAI) for new products, engineering changes, and customer requirements.
  • Review customer drawings, specifications, BOM, and technical requirements before FAI.
  • Verify dimensional, visual, functional, and assembly requirements.
  • Prepare and approve First Article samples before production release.
  • Prepare and maintain FAI reports (AS9102 format if required), ISIR, PPAP, or customer-specific documentation.
  • Ensure all inspection records are complete, accurate, and traceable.
  • Maintain revision control of drawings and quality documents.
  • Ensure measurement methods comply with customer and internal standards.
  • Identify non-conformities during FAI.
  • Verify effectiveness before production approval.
  • Review manufacturing processes to ensure capability meets drawing tolerance.
  • Support process validation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Recommend improvements to reduce defects and improve manufacturability.
  • Support customer audits related to FAI.
  • Respond to customer quality inquiries regarding first article submissions.
  • Coordinate customer sample approval when required.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, First Article Inspection, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Experience in precision sheet metal, metal stamping, CNC machining, or electrical cabinet manufacturing is preferred.
  • Experience with NPI, FAI, PPAP, or ISIR documentation.
  • Able to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of process capability and statistical analysis is an advantage.

Pay: From RM9,999.00 per month
