Kerja Sepenuh Masa, Assistant Manager, Underwriting di Takaful Malaysia Federal Territory - Maukerja

Perform underwriting within the underwriting guidelines and department’s turnaround time. Responsible for project and all related areas and ensure efficient and excellent operational workflow in respective area.

• Perform underwriting for new business, reinstatements, and non-disclosure cases, ensuring completion within the department’s turnaround time upon receipt of all required documents.
• Review and countersign cases underwritten by junior underwriters that exceed their delegated authority limits.
• Manage enquiries and case resolution for Family Helpdesk, CCMS, appeals, and complaints by providing timely feedback and effective solutions.
• Conduct analysis of auto-underwriting cases and recommend enhancements to improve acceptance rates.
• Perform quality assurance checks across both auto and manual underwriting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support system testing activities related to underwriting programs as required.
• Assist superiors with report submissions, undertake ad hoc tasks, and provide cross-team support when necessary.

Requirement:

• Degree holder in a relevant field of study.
• 6 to 8 years of underwriting experience within a Life Insurance company and/or Takaful operator.
• Proven track record in collaborating with Sales Teams, Agents, Vendors, and medical service providers to ensure smooth underwriting operations and stakeholder engagement.
