About the Role

We are seeking a Tender & Estimation Engineer to support cost estimation, budgeting, and proposal preparation for process industry projects. This role is suitable for fresh graduates with a Quantity Surveying/Engineering background who are keen to develop their skills in project costing and commercial functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cost estimates, including material take-offs, labor costs, and other project expenses
• Support project budgeting and cost tracking under guidance from senior team members
• Work with sales and engineering teams to support proposal preparation and tender submissions
• Assist in basic cost analysis and value engineering exercises
• Prepare documentation for client submissions and internal approvals
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and relevant industry standards

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 1–5 years of experience; fresh engineering graduates are welcome to apply

Required Skills

• Proficiency in cost estimation software
• Basic understanding / willingness to learn process industry construction methods and materials
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and sales skills
• Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., API, ASME, etc.)
• Certifications: QS related certification preferred

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Familiarity with cost estimation software and tools
• Knowledge of process industry-specific software
• CRM software experience
