Job Purpose

To perform repair and touch-up work on products with dents, scratches, and surface defects to ensure products meet the required quality standards and reduce rework and scrap costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect products and identify dents, scratches, surface defects, and cosmetic issues.
• Perform touch-up, repair, and rework activities on defective products.
• Restore product appearance according to required quality standards.
• Use appropriate tools and techniques for repairing damaged surfaces.
• Conduct visual inspection after repair to ensure products meet acceptance criteria.
• Reduce product rejection, scrap, and material wastage through effective repair activities.
• Identify recurring defects and highlight issues to the Supervisor / Quality team for improvement actions.
• Ensure repaired products are properly handled and transferred to the next process.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper usage of repair tools and equipment.
• Follow company safety rules, procedures, and quality requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience in product repair, touch-up, surface finishing, or rework activities is preferred.
• Experience in repairing dents and scratches on metal products is an advantage.
• Able to use basic hand tools and repair equipment.
• Good attention to detail and able to identify cosmetic defects.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual skills.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Willing to work in a manufacturing environment.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
