Senior System Analyst (Banking)

Location: Punggol Digital District, Singapore
Employment Type: 13-Month Contract (Renewable)

Join one of Singapore's leading banks and play a key role in delivering enterprise-scale technology initiatives. We are looking for an experienced System Analyst who excels at bridging business needs with technical solutions while working across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements from stakeholders
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications
  • Facilitate requirement gathering workshops and stakeholder discussions
  • Produce use cases, process flows, data models, and system documentation
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, QA teams, and project managers throughout the SDLC
  • Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and defect resolution
  • Prepare user manuals, training materials, and technical documentation
  • Ensure solutions align with architectural standards, governance, and security requirements
  • Support deployment and post-implementation activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a System Analyst or Business Systems Analyst
  • Experience within Banking or Financial Services is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Agile methodologies
  • Business and technical requirement gathering
  • Functional specifications and system documentation
  • Process flows and data modelling
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • SQL
  • Database concepts
  • System analysis tools and techniques
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

  • Red Hat Linux
  • Shell Scripting
  • Windows Server
  • CBAP or Business Analysis certification

Pay: $8,800.00 - $9,800.00 per month
