The Assistant Service Supervisory (Culinary) supports the kitchen team in delivering high-quality dishes, working under the guidance of the Chef de Partie. This role provides hands-on cooking experience, skill development, and the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility within the kitchen.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and cooking dishes according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Support the Chef de Partie in maintaining consistency, quality, and efficiency on your station.
  • Learn and develop culinary skills across different stations, gaining experience in various cooking techniques.
  • Follow portion control, hygiene, and safety standards at all times.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and storage of ingredients.
  • Contribute ideas for improving workflow, recipes, and operational efficiency.
  • Support the kitchen team during busy periods, stepping in where needed.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, accountability, and a growth mindset, actively seeking learning opportunities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience in a professional kitchen, preferably as Demi Chef or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of Japanese cuisine and other relevant cooking techniques is advantageous.
  • Eagerness to learn, develop skills, and take on increasing responsibility.
  • Good teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
