Join a dynamic team dedicated to advancing power renewal projects that enhance safety and efficiency through innovative solutions and cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the replacement and renewal of 22KV, 750V, 415V, UPS, and battery charger systems.
  • Support project activities by leveraging innovative technologies for power renewal.
  • Study Method Statements (MS) to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Review Risk Assessments (RA) and project drawings to identify safety and operational hazards prior to project commencement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines throughout project execution, mitigating impacts on operations.
  • Organize manpower deployment effectively based on workload requirements.
  • Oversee resource allocation in alignment with the Quality Assurance (QA) programme.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities on power-related matters, such as obtaining Certificates of Authorization (COA) and conducting electrical switching.
  • Communicate company vision, mission, and core values through regular progress updates and development sessions.
  • Manage and mentor Assistant Engineers to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and maintain high productivity levels, fostering their professional growth and readiness for advancement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of supervisory or engineering experience in electrical projects, operations, or maintenance.
  • Expertise in power engineering skills and knowledge of power systems and operations.
  • Familiarity with 22kV AC power distribution systems, rectifiers, inverters, and power transformers.
  • Understanding of 415V AC service power systems and 750V DC traction power systems.
  • Knowledge of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and basic electrical safety practices.
