Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive Warehouse Operations Assistant Manager to support the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory control, accurate order processing, and compliance with HALAL, food safety, and hygiene standards.

This role is responsible for supervising warehouse teams across inbound, outbound, and cold room operations, ensuring smooth workflow across all shifts, and supporting continuous operational improvement to achieve high efficiency, accuracy, and service levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Warehouse Operations Support

Assist in managing daily warehouse operations across all shifts

Conduct daily staff briefings and assign operational priorities

Monitor and support receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch activities

Ensure smooth workflow between inbound, outbound, and cold room operations

Support Warehouse Manager in execution of operational plans

• Inventory & Stock Control

Supervise daily stock movement and inventory accuracy

Ensure proper stock handling, rotation (FIFO/FEFO), and storage compliance

Monitor stock discrepancies and support investigation processes

Assist in maintaining accurate system and physical stock records

Support stock reconciliation and reporting activities

• Order Fulfillment & Operations Efficiency

Support timely and accurate order processing and fulfillment

Ensure delivery preparation meets outlet requirements

Monitor order accuracy and minimize operational errors

Coordinate with logistics and production teams for smooth dispatch flow

• Compliance & Safety Management

Ensure warehouse operations comply with HACCP, HALAL, GMP, and safety standards

Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and safety across all warehouse areas

Support internal audits and QC inspections

Ensure proper handling of food and temperature-sensitive products

• Team Supervision & Support

Supervise warehouse supervisors and operational teams

Monitor staff performance, attendance, and productivity

Support training and onboarding of warehouse personnel

Review overtime, claims, and workforce efficiency reports

• Reporting & Performance Tracking

Prepare weekly and monthly warehouse performance reports

Support KPI tracking and reporting to management

Assist in monthly stocktake reporting and analysis

Monitor stock turnover, inventory accuracy, and fulfillment performance

• Planning & Continuous Improvement

Support monthly forecasting and stock planning activities

Assist in Power Planner and KPI review sessions

Identify operational gaps and support process improvement initiatives

Contribute to warehouse efficiency and workflow optimization

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
• Minimum 3 years experience in warehouse operations or supervisory role
• Experience in F&B or food manufacturing industry preferred
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory systems
• Ability to work in shift-based and high-pressure environment
