About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our Human Resources team. This internship provides hands-on exposure to various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR administration, and people operations. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and passionate about building a career in Human Resources.


Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Assist in posting job advertisements on job portals and social media platforms.
  • Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on job requirements.
  • Coordinate interview schedules with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain and update candidate databases and recruitment trackers.

HR Administration

  • Assist in preparing employee documents, letters, and HR reports.
  • Ensure accurate filing and maintenance of employee records.
  • Support the HR team in maintaining HRIS and employee databases.
  • Handle general HR administrative tasks and documentation.

Onboarding & Employee Experience

  • Support new hire onboarding activities and orientation programs.
  • Prepare onboarding materials and welcome kits.
  • Assist in employee engagement initiatives, events, and internal communications.
  • Gather feedback from employees to improve HR processes and employee experience.

HR Projects & Compliance

  • Assist in HR projects related to employee engagement, employer branding, and process improvement.
  • Support HR compliance activities in accordance with Malaysian labor regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct research and benchmarking on HR best practices when required.


Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Able to utilise Canva
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Proactive, positive attitude, and willing to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
