About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our Human Resources team. This internship provides hands-on exposure to various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR administration, and people operations. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and passionate about building a career in Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Assist in posting job advertisements on job portals and social media platforms.
- Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on job requirements.
- Coordinate interview schedules with candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain and update candidate databases and recruitment trackers.
HR Administration
- Assist in preparing employee documents, letters, and HR reports.
- Ensure accurate filing and maintenance of employee records.
- Support the HR team in maintaining HRIS and employee databases.
- Handle general HR administrative tasks and documentation.
Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Support new hire onboarding activities and orientation programs.
- Prepare onboarding materials and welcome kits.
- Assist in employee engagement initiatives, events, and internal communications.
- Gather feedback from employees to improve HR processes and employee experience.
HR Projects & Compliance
- Assist in HR projects related to employee engagement, employer branding, and process improvement.
- Support HR compliance activities in accordance with Malaysian labor regulations and company policies.
- Conduct research and benchmarking on HR best practices when required.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Able to utilise Canva
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Proactive, positive attitude, and willing to learn.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
