Hiring: Fortinet Security Gateway Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Fortinet Security Gateway Engineer to join a leading telecommunications project.

Location: Malaysia

Employment Type: 12-Month Contract(Extendable)

Experience: 8–12 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and support Fortinet Security Gateway solutions.
• Manage FortiGate Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) and security policies.
• Implement and support IPSec VPN, SSL VPN, and Remote Access VPN solutions.
• Perform security hardening, firewall optimization, vulnerability remediation, and incident troubleshooting.
• Support carrier-grade telecommunications infrastructure and collaborate with network, cloud, and cybersecurity teams.

Required Skills

• 8–12 years of experience in Network & Cyber Security.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Fortinet Security Solutions.
• Strong expertise in:
• FortiGate NGFW
• FortiManager
• FortiAnalyzer
• FortiOS
• FortiAuthenticator
• IPSec VPN & SSL VPN
• Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, NAT)
• Experience supporting Telco Core Networks and Ericsson Core Network technologies.
• Strong background in carrier-grade or enterprise network security environments.

Preferred Certifications

• Fortinet NSE 4 / FCP Network Security
• Fortinet NSE 5
• Fortinet NSE 7
