Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Lead end-to-end project execution, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals
- Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved on time and within budget
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, quality, and procurement
- Act as the technical liaison between customers and internal teams
- Translate customer requirements into clear engineering specifications
- Provide project updates, technical support, and engineering solutions to customers
- Manage customer audits and feedback, and drive continuous improvement actions
- Ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are consistently met
New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Manage the end-to-end NPI process
- Develop process flows, work instructions, and validation plans
- Oversee product qualification and process validation activities
- Ensure a smooth transition from development to mass production
Production Support & Continuous Improvement
- Support production in resolving technical issues and process bottlenecks
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production processes
- Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions
- Improve yield, reduce scrap, and optimize cycle time
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Product Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve product performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate with quality teams to drive product optimization initiatives
- Conduct failure analysis and implement design or process improvements
- Support lifecycle management of existing products
Additional Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and ISO 9001, AS 9100 and Nadcap requirements
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations
- Manage suppliers and contractors when required
- Support cost reduction and value engineering initiatives
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support departmental objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related field)
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in project engineering or related role
- Strong project management skills
- Experience in NPI, manufacturing processes, and product lifecycle management
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Knowledge of regulatory and quality standards (ISO 9001, AS 9100, Nadcap)
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
