Key Responsibilities:
Materials Requirements Planning:

• Develop material plans for assigned product lines or component categories Calculate material requirements based on production forecasts and inventory targets
• Coordinate procurement activities to align with material needs
• Adjust material plans to accommodate changes in demand or lead times
Ensure optimal material availability while minimizing excess inventory

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams
• Support new product introductions and design activities
• Communicate material availability and supply constraints
• Participate in S&OP processes and planning cycles
• Provide procurement and planning expertise to cross-functional projects

Supplier Management and Performance:

• Manage supplier relationships and performance expectations
• Monitor supplier delivery, quality, and service metrics
• Implement supplier improvement initiatives
• Address supplier performance issues
Develop collaborative relationships with key suppliers

Inventory Management and Optimization:

• Monitor and optimize inventory levels across assigned categories
• Implement inventory control strategies and stocking policies
• Analyze inventory turns, aging, and obsolescence risks
• Develop approaches to reduce excess while preventing shortages
Support inventory accuracy through monitoring and reconciliation

Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyze procurement and inventory data to identify improvement opportunities Develop cost models and pricing benchmarks
• Monitor key performance indicators and metrics
• Prepare procurement and materials reports for management
• Support savings initiatives and track results

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
• 2-4 years of experience in procurement, materials planning, or supply chain
• operations
• Experience with sourcing methodologies and materials requirements planning
• Knowledge of supplier management and inventory control techniques
• Experience in manufacturing or high-tech industry preferred

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of procurement principles, material planning, and inventory management
• Analytical skills with ability to evaluate market data, material requirements, and spend information
• Negotiation skills with ability to achieve favorable terms and pricing
• Proficiency with procurement systems, planning tools, and data analysis
• Good understanding of supplier management and performance measurement
• Effective communication and relationship management abilities
• Problem-solving orientation with practical approach to supply chain challenges Knowledge of contract terms and material planning parameters
• Experience with cost modeling and total cost analysis • Understanding of semiconductor industry supply markets and manufacturing processes
• Decision-making capabilities balancing cost, availability, and supply risk

Travel Requirements:

• Moderate travel required (10-15% of time) • May include travel to supplier locations and company facilities

Level of Authority:

• Makes decisions regarding supplier selection, material plans, and inventory levels
• Commits company to purchase agreements within defined approval limits
• Recommends commodity strategies and planning approaches
• Escalates significant procurement and planning issues to appropriate management
Works independently on standard activities with general supervision

Job Complexity:

• Performs moderately complex procurement and planning activities requiring analysis and judgment
• Manages multiple commodity categories, suppliers, and material plans
• Resolves supply issues involving various stakeholders and considerations
• Requires understanding of semiconductor supply markets and manufacturing flows
• Expected to balance cost objectives, material availability, and inventory levels
• Navigates competing priorities from various departments and operations
