Job Description

Responsibilities

This role resides under MISC Marine (the Integrated Marine Services arm of MISC Group) and a 2-Years Contract role


Key Accountabilities

1. Project Planning, Monitoring & Governance

  • Support project planning, scheduling, progress tracking, and reporting activities.
  • Monitor project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risks to ensure adherence to approved timelines.
  • Prepare project status reports, dashboards, governance papers, and steering committee materials.
  • Track and escalate project issues, risks, and decisions requiring management attention.

2. Cost Control & Financial Management

  • Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets and forecasts.
  • Track project commitments, purchase orders, invoices, and vendor payments.
  • Support budget planning, cost forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
  • Identify potential cost overruns and recommend corrective actions to maintain budget compliance.
  • Assist in evaluating change requests and assessing financial impacts on project budgets.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation for audit and governance purposes.

3. Vendor & Contract Administration

  • Monitor vendor deliverables and contractual obligations against agreed project milestones.
  • Support contract management activities including variation orders, commercial tracking, and payment verification.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, and vendors to ensure timely execution of procurement-related activities

4. Project Reporting & Performance Management

  • Develop and maintain project dashboards, KPI reporting, and performance metrics.
  • Consolidate project progress updates from multiple workstreams.
  • Support preparation of management presentations, business updates, and project governance reports.
  • Ensure project documentation remains current, complete, and auditable.

5. Post Go-Live Support Management

  • Coordinate hypercare and stabilization activities following system go-live.
  • Monitor issue logs, service requests, defects, and support tickets to ensure timely resolution.
  • Facilitate communication between business users, support teams, vendors, and project stakeholders during stabilization periods.
  • Track and report post-implementation KPIs, service performance, and operational readiness metrics.
  • Support transition from project implementation team to business-as-usual support teams.
  • Ensure lessons learned, knowledge transfer, support documentation, and operational procedures are completed and maintained.

6. Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with project managers, business stakeholders, technical teams, Finance, Procurement, and vendors.
  • Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and follow-up actions.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration to resolve project and operational issues.

7. Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve project governance, reporting processes, financial controls, and support management practices.
  • Support benefit realization tracking and post-implementation reviews.
  • Contribute to organizational project management standards, methodologies, and best practices.

8. Vision & Mission

  • Support achievement of MISC Marine's digital transformation objectives and organizational strategic goals through effective project governance, financial stewardship, and operational support.


EXPERIENCE


  • Minimum 5 years' experience in project administration, project controls, PMO, cost management, or business analyst roles.
  • Experience supporting large-scale ERP, digital transformation, or enterprise system implementation projects.
  • Experience in project budgeting, cost tracking, financial reporting, and vendor management.
  • Experience managing post go-live support, hypercare activities, or operational handover processes is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and governance practices.


QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Project Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Professional certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of ERP platforms, project management tools, and reporting solutions is preferred.
