Job Summary

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms, automate deployments, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with development teams and customers to ensure platform reliability and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain OpenShift and Kubernetes environments to ensure platform stability and scalability
• Build, support, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, and Nexus to automate software delivery
• Automate deployment processes and infrastructure management to improve efficiency and reduce errors
• Monitor system performance continuously, troubleshoot issues promptly, and maintain high availability of services
• Implement security best practices to safeguard platform integrity and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
• Collaborate effectively with development teams and customers to support application deployments and operational needs

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• 3 years of DevOps experience managing OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms
• Proficiency with Docker, Helm, CI/CD tools, and automation techniques
• Knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL, and performance testing tools such as JMeter
• Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and teamwork orientation

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• OpenShift or Kubernetes certification
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with Blue-Green deployment strategies, monitoring tools, and Agile/DevOps methodologies
• Experience in the banking or payments industry
