Quality Control Inspector
About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Quality Control Inspector to join our food manufacturing team in Ampang, Selangor. This full-time role is responsible for ensuring all products meet quality, food safety, and regulatory standards before they are released. You will work closely with the production team to maintain product quality and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Perform routine quality checks and sensory evaluations (appearance, texture, aroma, and taste where applicable).
• Operate and maintain quality control equipment, ensuring proper calibration and accuracy.
• Record inspection results, testing data, and non-conformance reports accurately.
• Identify quality issues, report findings, and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety regulations, and hygiene standards.
• Investigate quality complaints and assist in implementing preventive measures.
• Maintain product traceability, sample retention, and quality documentation.
• Prepare quality reports and support internal or external audits.
• Collaborate with production and other departments to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance within the food manufacturing industry. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety, and quality management systems.
• Good attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Willing to work in a production environment and on night shifts when required.
• Experience in the bakery or food manufacturing industry is an added advantage.

Salary

RM2,000 – RM2,200 (depending on experience)
