JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB/POSITION TITLE : EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN

DEPARTMENT/SECTION : ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

REPORTS TO : EQUIPMENT ENGINEER

BASIC FUNCTION

To manage & responsible for process control, process improvement and equipment for manufacturing. Responsible for new / existing model machine and program setup also in charge of machine maintenance and spare parts.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintenance and repairing the entire machine in the production area.

2. Perform operational, preventive maintenance tasks and corrective work as instructed and in accordance with written orders.

3. Estimates labor and material costs for proposed equipment.

4. Troubleshoots and resolves electronic and electrical malfunctions.

5. Conduct studies on the efficiency of methods, materials and equipment.

6. Modifies existing equipment to fit needs of the workplace.

7. Prepares technical reports related to the work.

8. Performs related work as assigned.

9. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

10. Perform another task as assigned by immediate supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:

· Possess at least Certificate or Diploma in Engineering (Electric/Electronic),

Engineering (Mechatronic), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent or;

· One or two years of experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and electronic equipment.

· Knowledge of electrical and electro-mechanical principles.

· Knowledge of analog and digital electronics.

· Must have basic technical skills in maintenance works.

· Fresh graduate is encouraging to apply

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
