Department: Food & Beverage (Kitchen)

Job Purpose

To assist the kitchen team in food preparation and ensure all food is prepared according to the hotel's quality and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before cooking (washing, cutting, marinating, etc.).
• Assist in cooking and plating dishes according to standard recipes.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations.
• Store food items properly and monitor product freshness.
• Follow instructions from the Deputy Chef and Head Chef.
• Assist in receiving and checking kitchen supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Report any damaged equipment or food quality issues immediately.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Assist during buffet service, banquets, and special events.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Head Chef, Deputy Chef, or Management.

Requirements

• Basic culinary knowledge or relevant kitchen experience.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Good teamwork and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of food hygiene is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
