Key Responsibilities Preventive Maintenance

• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
• Perform daily inspections of hotel equipment and report any defects or abnormalities.
• Assist in maintaining maintenance records and preventive maintenance checklists.

Corrective Maintenance

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel departments.
• Repair or assist in repairing electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance issues.
• Replace faulty lighting, switches, sockets, locks, door closers, faucets, and other building fixtures.

Building & Equipment Maintenance

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining HVAC, electrical, plumbing, water supply, drainage, fire protection, and mechanical systems.
• Ensure hotel equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Support maintenance of kitchen equipment, pumps, generators, and other engineering systems as assigned.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Report hazardous conditions immediately to the supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, engineering SOPs, and local safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workshops, plant rooms, and engineering stores.

Guest Service

• Attend maintenance requests professionally and courteously.
• Minimize disruption to guests while carrying out repair works.
• Ensure all maintenance jobs are completed within the required timeframe.

Administrative Duties

• Update maintenance logs and work order records.
• Assist in inventory control of engineering tools, spare parts, and consumables.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Engineering Supervisor or Management.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
