Job Summary

The Account Assistant (GL) supports the finance team in maintaining accurate records, preparing audit and tax schedules, and assisting with general ledger postings. This role provides valuable exposure to statutory compliance, external audits, and tax reporting processes. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, as training and mentorship will be provided.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing audit schedules, supporting documents, and reconciliations.
• Support tax computations and filing processes in compliance with statutory deadlines.
• Perform general ledger postings, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Assist in monthly closing activities
• Maintain proper documentation and filing for audit and tax purposes.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and internal teams as required.
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of financial information.
• Ad-hoc matters.

Job requirement:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply (internship or prior accounting exposure is an advantage).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, audit, and tax regulations preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting
• Ability to work under deadlines and multitask effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
