Web Developer
Responsibilities
- Solution Development and Delivery
- Assists in system design, coding, and testing of technical solutions. – Understands standard systems development lifecycle processes and applies our methodology effectively on client engagements.
- Applies knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients.
- Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications
- Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API
- Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development
- Project Execution
- Understands project and development plans and is able to clearly articulate roles, project goals, and timelines
- Ensure all designs produced deliver great user experience
- Establishes responsible deadlines and personal work plans
- Competency with Programming tools such as Sublime Text, Trello, Asana, etc
- Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serves as liaison between development staff and project manager
- Diploma/Degree/Master in Computer Science, or a similar relevant field
- A minimum of one (2) year of experience in designing and developing websites and apps
- A good understanding of frontend frameworks such as Bootstrap, Angular JS, Vue JS, Ionic etc
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
- Proficient in PHP, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery Expert
- Experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, etc.)
- Excellent relational database skills with MySQL
- Experience with building restful JSON web services
- Knowledge of API’s, such as twitter, Facebook, Google maps, Instagram, etc.
- Understanding of responsive design frameworks such as bootstrap
