Job Scope

• Support the Project Manager/Project Director in coordinating and managing engineering projects by organizing, monitoring, and controlling project activities and deliverables.
• Compile accurate Weekly Project Progress Reports and ensure timely submission.
• Maintain proper project documentation, records, and filing systems in an organized and traceable manner.
• Assist in the preparation, implementation, and maintenance of the Project Execution Quality Plan (PEQP).
• Attend weekly progress meetings (internal and client) and prepare clear and accurate Minutes of Meeting (MOM).
• Monitor overall project progress and prepare weekly status updates for ongoing projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules by reviewing plans, specifications, work sequences, and resource requirements.
• Track project performance, identify potential issues, and coordinate corrective actions to ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure all project activities comply with applicable codes, standards, company procedures, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil / Electrical / Chemical) or related discipline.
• Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as Graduate Engineer (GE) or Professional Engineer (if applicable).
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in project engineering or project execution, preferably in engineering consultancy or EPC environment.
• Familiarity with oil & energy industry projects, both onshore and offshore, is preferred.
• Experience in project engineering involving scope, schedule, coordination, and delivery of engineering projects within multidisciplinary teams will be an added advantage.
• Familiar or proficient in Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of project management tools or engineering design software will be an advantage.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to manage tasks, priorities, and deliverables in a project environment.
