Job Summary
An HR Generalist oversees day-to-day HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, and policy compliance. They act as a key point of contact for employees and management on HR-related matters and help implement HR programs that support organizational goals and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Coordinate job postings, source candidates, screen resumes, conduct interviews, extend employment offers, facilitate salary negotiations, complete reference checks, and manage the employee onboarding process.
- Employee Administration and Support: Maintain employee records, HRIS data, and documentation; manage leaves of absence; assist employees with contract questions or concerns; and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Benefits Administration: Handle queries and administrative tasks for employee benefits like health insurance, pensions, retirement plans, and vacation time. Analyze competitors' compensation and benefits to help improve the organization's offerings.
- Policy Implementation and Compliance: Create, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures. Ensure all HR activities comply with local and national regulations.
- Training and Development: Assist with planning and organizing employee training programs and professional development initiatives.
- Payroll and Compensation Support: Support payroll processing, including bonuses, incentives, vacation, and sick pay administration.
- Employee Relations: Serve as an advisor on employee relations issues, performance management, conflict resolution, grievances, and organizational changes.
- Reporting and Record Keeping: Prepare HR reports, maintain accurate and confidential employee records, and support audits for compliance.
- General HR Support: Recommend strategies to improve employee motivation and engagement, help coordinate performance management, and assist with budget monitoring.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with HRIS and other HR software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Typically requires 5+ years of HR experience.

Pay: RM3,800.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
