A Molding Technician, or Injection Molding Technician, sets up, operates, and maintains molding machines and tools. They calibrate machine parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, and cycle time), perform mold changes, troubleshoot equipment issues, and inspect parts to ensure they meet quality and manufacturing specifications.

Key Responsibilities
Machine Setup & Operation: Prepare machines for production by installing dies, clamps, and molds according to work order specifications.
Process Optimization: Regulate injection speeds, molding temperatures, and pressures to ensure process stability and optimize cycle times.
Quality Control: Visually inspect and measure molded parts. Halt production when defects arise and implement corrective actions.
Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machines, tools, and auxiliary equipment. Diagnose breakdowns and assist in equipment repair.
Documentation & Safety: Record machine adjustments, maintenance activities, and downtime reports. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 1 to 3 years of on-site experience in plastic injection molding, mold maintenance, or tool setting. [1, 2]
• Technical Skills: Ability to read technical/mechanical drawings, understanding of engineering materials, and strong mechanical aptitude

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
