Role Description The Senior Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bayan Lepas, responsible for leading and coordinating engineering projects from concept to completion. This role involves developing project plans, reviewing designs, overseeing installation and commissioning of M&E systems, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client specifications. The Senior Project Engineer will manage project schedules and budgets, prepare technical documentation and reports, and work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical and operational issues. The role also includes monitoring site progress, conducting risk assessments, supporting quality and safety initiatives, and mentoring junior engineers and project team members.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills, including experience with MEP systems and critical facilities.
• Candidates should possess solid Project Management and Project Planning skills to manage timelines, resources, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, enabling clear coordination with clients, contractors, and internal teams, and the ability to prepare technical documentation and reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline; professional registration or certification is an advantage.
• Relevant experience in building services, cleanrooms, data centers, or industrial facilities; familiarity with Malaysian standards, CIDB requirements, and ISO 9001:2015 practices is beneficial.
• Proven ability to work on-site, perform hands-on problem solving, and uphold safety and quality requirements in a fast-paced project environment.
