What's the role?

We are looking for a Digital Workplace engineer intern to increase engineering capacity in the Digital Workplace team, creating solutions for the Workplace of the Future of 34,000 users worldwide. As part of this diverse and agile group, you will have various opportunities to learn about and work on topics relating to Microsoft 365, Intune, Teams Telephony and Virtual Desktop. The Digital Workplace Engineer is expected to work together with the Product Owner and other engineers to innovate and elevate our user experience, designing dependable solutions that enhance the global Digital Workplace. This role offers a unique chance to dive into other areas of the Digital Workplace/Modern Workplace.

What You'll do

As a Digital Workplace engineer intern, you will be responsible for implementing, testing, and maintaining the solutions that enable Hilti employees to work efficiently and effectively from anywhere, anytime. As part of the Digital Workplace team, you will have the opportunity to develop yourself into a multi-discipline engineer evaluating & implementing the latest technologies in the field of Windows, Modern Device Management & Desktop Virtualization. You will work across the technology platforms alongside the Product Owners to expand your technology skillset. Doing so, you will build your experience across various product stacks and define your career progression.

  • You are currently enrolled in Bachelor's / Master's, or studies in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) / Science & Technology or related fields
  • Your strategic approach and good problem-solving skills are paired with proactiveness and a hands-on mentality
  • You have strong communication skills and interpersonal skills and you are fluent in written and spoken English
  • You are eager to learn and challenge yourself
