Job Summary

Experience range: 6-9 Years

We are looking for an experienced Developer / Engineer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of the bank's eStatement platform within the Core Banking – Channel & EAI domain. The ideal candidate should possess strong Unix/Linux development skills, Oracle database expertise, and experience with EngageOne and Java-based applications. The role involves application development, production support, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure stable and efficient delivery of banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain eStatement applications and services.

Perform application development, bug fixing, and production support activities.

Design and develop Shell scripts for automation and batch processing on Unix/Linux environments.

Develop and maintain Oracle database objects including SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

Work with EngageOne for document generation and customer statement solutions.

Develop and maintain Java-based front-end components where required.

Troubleshoot application issues and perform root cause analysis.

Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and release activities.

Collaborate with business users, solution architects, infrastructure teams, and vendors.

Ensure applications comply with banking security, governance, and coding standards.

Support system upgrades, patching, and environment maintenance.

Mandatory Skills

6–9 years of application development experience.

Hands-on experience with eStatement solutions.

Strong Shell Scripting experience on Unix/Linux.

Oracle Database (SQL, PL/SQL).

Experience with EngageOne.

Front-end Java development.

Unix/Linux operating systems.

Good-to-Have Skills

Pitney Bowes product knowledge.

Java Scripting.

DevOps practices.

Bitbucket.

Jenkins.

Artifactory.

CI/CD pipeline implementation.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience working in banking or financial services.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments is an advantage.

Pay: RM17,000.00 - RM20,000.00 per month
