Job Description:-
- Control entry and exit of residents, visitors, and contractors at the dormitory gate
- Verify identification cards (e.g., resident passes, visitor passes) before granting access
- Conduct security screening and checks for prohibited items when required
- Monitor CCTV systems and security alarms continuously
- Patrol dormitory premises (blocks, corridors, common areas,perimeter)
- Ensure compliance with dormitory rules and regulations
- Prevent unauthorized entry, theft, violence, or disturbances
- Respond to emergencies such as fights, fire alarms, medical incidents, or accidents
- Assist in crowd control during peak movement hours (e.g., shift changes)
- Maintain incident logs and prepare daily security reports
- Coordinate with dormitory management and emergency services when necessary
- Support evacuation procedures during emergencies
- Valid security officer license (depending on country regulations; in Singapore, PLRD licensing is required)
- Basic security training certification
- Ability to handle difficult or aggressive situations calmly
- Good communication skills (basic English is often required;additional languages are a plus)
- Experience in residential or institutional security is an advantage
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- Working location : Dormitory @ Paris Panjang Pepys rd
