Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician will ensure effective plant maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with departments to resolve safety, quality, and productivity issues.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant equipment and machinery to comply with company safety standards and ensure operational efficiency
• Troubleshoot daily mechanical and electrical breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to extend equipment lifespan and prevent failures
• Modify existing machinery and equipment to improve functionality or address issues
• Conduct daily inspections and checks on plant equipment and machinery to identify potential problems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve safety, quality, and productivity challenges
• Implement 5S workplace organization practices and manage equipment spare parts inventory
• Update and maintain the daily maintenance schedule to track completed and pending tasks
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support plant operations

Required competencies and certifications

• Technical certificate or Polytechnic Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or equivalent
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
• Willingness to work overtime and shift work

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Knowledge of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (PNIDs), electrical drawings, and assembly line operations
