Responsibilities

• Conduct formulation development and process development for oral solid pharmaceutical dosage forms.
• Modify, optimize, and improve existing formulations based on market trends, customer feedback, cost considerations and regulatory requirements.
• Develop raw material specifications and finished product specifications.
• Support or perform analytical method development for finished products.
• Perform quality control tests for oral solid dosage forms including HPLC analysis.
• Ensure accurate documentation of formulation records, laboratory records, test results, and development reports in compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
• Keep abreast of current regulatory requirements and guidelines relevant to pharmaceutical product development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacy or a related discipline.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken) .
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in pharmaceutical product development or related field.
• Willing to travel between research stations within Klang Valley and Singapore.
• Possess own transport.
• 1 year contract with possibility to extend for another, or opportunities for a permanent position during or after the contract period subjected to good performance and business needs.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience tablet formulation development.
• Familiarity with QC tests and analytical techniques, particularly HPLC and dissolution testing.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills related to formulation and processes.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice.
• Good computer literacy.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven development environment.
