Job Description:
1. Production Management
- Supervise daily production activities.
- Ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved.
- Monitor workflow and resolve production issues.
- Coordinate with production planning teams.
2. Team Supervision
- Lead and supervise production operators and technicians.
- Assign work schedules and daily tasks.
- Train new employees on work procedures and safety.
- Monitor employee performance and discipline.
3. Quality Control
- Ensure products meet company quality standards.
- Conduct routine inspections during production.
- Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
4. Safety & Compliance
- Enforce workplace health and safety regulations.
- Conduct safety briefings and inspections.
- Ensure employees use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report and investigate workplace incidents.
5. Equipment & Maintenance
- Monitor machine performance and equipment utilization.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance with the maintenance team.
- Report equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
6. Inventory & Materials
- Monitor raw material availability.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and purchasing departments.
- Reduce material wastage and improve inventory control.
7. Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
- Record production output, downtime, defects, and attendance.
- Report operational issues to the Production Manager or Factory Manager.
8. Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or Six Sigma initiatives.
- Recommend process improvements to reduce costs and increase output.
