Position Purpose and Nature

Manages administrative tasks for operational purchasing, ensuring timely orders and deliveries to maintain an optimal stock of essential materials and equipment.

Key Accountability and Duties

- Efficiently organize all procurement activities related to requests for proposals and pricing.

- Maintain meticulous, computerized records containing vendor and bid information.

- Carry out essential clerical duties, including file maintenance, typing, data entry, and processing standard purchasing forms.

- Seamlessly coordinate and schedule meetings and appointments; handle and respond to inquiries that do not require the Facility Executive/Manager’s direct attention.

- Respond promptly to staff inquiries regarding requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, and pricing information.

- Take charge of sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials from local suppliers.

- Diligently evaluate vendor quotations to ensure alignment with technical and commercial requirements.

- Manage daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing, and follow-up.

- Prepare and deliver monthly Purchase Request (PR) & Purchase Order (PO) reports to the Finance Department.

- Meticulously compile invoices and related documents, maintaining updated listings and submitting them to the Finance Department.

- Proactively update Purchase Orders for pending invoices to the Vendors and Finance Department.

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures as well as to company standards.

- Performed any task as assigned by the Management of Daya Bersih Sdn Bhd from time to time.

General Qualification Requirements

· Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or relevant qualification and at least 2 years of working experience in purchasing/procurement or a relevant field.

· Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

· High integrity in carrying out the job scope.

· Resourceful with a positive attitude and able to work independently.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
