Ensure that vehicles are in proper mechanical condition and meet all legal road safety requirements.

Carry out minor repairs and routine maintenance in case of accidents or breakdowns during transit.

Secure heavy cargo and large items safely to prevent movement or damage during transportation.

Plan and follow the most efficient routes between pickup and delivery locations.

Stay updated on road conditions, including closures, accidents, and traffic diversions.

Coordinate and manage multiple deliveries and drop-off points within the workday.

Oversee and assist with loading and unloading goods onto and off the vehicle.

Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks, document deliveries, and track mileage records.

Follow all vehicle inspection requirements, including MOT standards and company policies.
