Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to join our client in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, with a primary focus on Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage financial transactions accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries accurately and on time.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with customers and vendors regarding payments.
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist in month-end closing and the preparation of financial reports.
• Ensure all accounting transactions are recorded accurately in the accounting system.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
• Support finance-related administrative tasks and other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail with good analytical and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
