Summary:

The Maintenance Manager leads the Maintenance Team to ensure all the machinery and equipment in the 2 Plants are well functioning to enable seamless production for the Company by maintaining and upkeeping the machinery and equipment by designing, planning, scheduling, and implementing effective preventive maintenance processes, and effective management of the utilities and spare parts inventories. To provide effective troubleshooting and solutions by engaging and working with vendors and technical experts in repair and maintenance-related challenges. Constantly look for opportunities and propose process/continuous improvement, leading maintenance-related projects and initiatives, and managing the annual budget effectively. Ensure the team follows the industrial safe work practices (OEM, OSHA, or the Company's safety standards) and the Quality Management System standards (ISO 90001 and FSSC 22000). 

 Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Knows the Company’s business strategies, values and culture. Establish, strategize, plan, and align the department’s strategies with the Company’s goals. Lead the team to support the production needs and any future company growth.  Set department objectives that are aligned with the Company’s strategies and goals.

• To lead and manage all maintenance-related activities, including developing breakdown and preventive maintenance (PM) programs for machinery, equipment, and Plant facilities, and provide solutions to improve implementation.  

• To develop Plant Risk Assessment as part of the asset management, evaluate, reduce, or eliminate potential risk while maintaining records/ registration/ approval with the authority.  Maintain a good record of the machinery and equipment specifications.

• Managing contractors, ensuring full compliance with the Company's standard operating procedures (SOP) while protecting the Company's interests.

• To review, plan, and oversee project and process improvement through data and feasibility study.  Offer an effective solution responsibly to minimize plant downtime, including sourcing and engaging vendors and service providers for projects, repair, installation, testing, inventory management, etc.

• Plan and manage the annual department budget and Capex effectively

• Organize and ensure the team maintains the store and inventory with good 5S.

• Work with the management and stakeholders on projects and initiatives that involve maintenance, e.g., new, relocation, modification of machines/ equipment, ISO, Continuous Improvement, etc.

• Lead and develop a high-performing Maintenance team by ensuring they have sufficient know-how skills.  Able to work independently with full responsibility toward achieving the department objectives.

• Equip team members with the right tools for the right job to ensure the team adheres to the SH&E and the Company’s established safety standards and applies good 5S standards in the workplace. 

• To develop standard operating procedures (SOP), ensure full implementation, and adjust according to the situation if the need arises.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience requirements:                              

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred

• 10 or more years of leadership experience in the manufacturing sector and experience in multinational companies

• Project management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously

• Data analytics skills and experience with attention to detail

• Organizational, planning, implementation, and reporting skills

• Problem-solving and follow-up with a strong sense of urgency and time management skills

• Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in multiple types of situations

• Comprehension of general manufacturing concepts related to efficiency, quality (ISO90001 and FSSC 22000), safety, workflow, and mechanics

• Ability to influence and convince through effective communication skills in matrix organizations, cross-functional teams, peers, and subordinates

• Expert-level knowledge of sector technology and processes
