Job Summary
Responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing CMM inspection programs to ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and validate CMM programs using software such as PC-DMIS, Calypso, or MCOSMOS.

• Perform dimensional inspection of first articles, in-process, and finished parts.

• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications.

• Analyze measurement results and prepare inspection reports.

• Support PPAP, FAI, APQP, and new product introduction activities.

• Troubleshoot CMM equipment and measurement-related issues.

• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve dimensional concerns.

• Maintain calibration records and ensure compliance with quality systems and customer requirements.

• Drive continuous improvement in measurement processes and inspection efficiency.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in CMM programming and dimensional inspection.

• Proficient in CMM software (PC-DMIS, Zeiss Calypso, MCOSMOS, or equivalent).

• Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.

• Experience with FAI, PPAP, and quality tools is an advantage.

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements is preferred.
