Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented & entrepreneurial Pharmacist to drive our local commercialization strategies. In this multifaceted role, you will lead new product innovations, spearhead regulatory submissions & expand our distribution footprint across Malaysia market. The ideal candidate is a proactive project manager who thrives in a dynamic environment, from formulating new supplements to presenting medical education to healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Development & Pipeline Management

  • Liaise & negotiate with current & potential suppliers to ensure high-quality manufacturing & supply chain resilience

  • Drive the expansion of Miraco flagship portfolios

• Business Development & Commercialization

  • Identify, develop & manage regional distributor networks across key markets: Singapore, Malaysia, China, and Indonesia

  • Collaborate with sales & marketing teams to execute successful go-to-market strategies for new product launches & actively supporting B2B medical detailing to communicate product efficacy to retail and hospital pharmacists

  • Develop & present high quality Continuous Medical Education (CMEs) presentations to doctors & healthcare professionals

  • Lead in developing product listing application clinical packages for hospital formulary listings

• Regulatory Affairs & Operational Support

  • Execute highly detailed regulatory submissions, including the preparation & management of product dossiers for regional health authorities

  • Provide technical & clinical expertise to support the setup, auditing, and optimization of manufacturing plants

Requirements

• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy holding a valid Pharmacist license with Pharmacy Board Malaysia

• Core Expertise: Extensive experience in regulatory dossier preparation, formulation analysis, quality control & regional go-to-market strategies 

• Technical & Professional Skills: Exceptional presentation, interpersonal & organizational skills; highly proficient in conducting CMEs, engaging with medical professionals & managing multiple product pipelines simultaneously 

• Preferred: Previous experience working with regional markets (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, China, Indonesia) & managing cross-border supply chains is highly advantageous 

• Professional Attributes: A meticulous, self-starting professional who proactively identifies commercial opportunities, solves complex problems independently & drives cross-functional projects to completion
