Responsibilities

• Review and supervise construction activities, sequencing, and contractor performance to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.

• Review and verify technical submissions, including shop drawings, RFIs, method statements, testing and commissioning activities, and ensure approved documents are properly implemented on-site.

• Conduct regular site inspections, technical supervision, and witnessing of works, including structural, architectural, M&E coordination, quality control, and progress monitoring.

• Manage non-conformances, inspection of works (IOWs), defects, and technical issues, ensuring timely corrective actions and compliance with project requirements.

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, clients, authorities, and multidisciplinary teams (Architectural, Structural, M&E, Landscape, ID, and Quantity Surveying) to resolve technical and design-related matters.

• Prepare and maintain technical reports, inspection records, quality and defect reports, non-compliance reports, meeting documentation, and other project deliverables, while attending site and technical meetings with clients and authorities.

Requirements

• Degree in C&S or related Engineering field.

• Registered with BEM/IEM.

• Minimum 10 years of building construction experience, 2-3 completed high-rise residential projects.

• Strong QA/QC background, structural inspection capability, and experience dealing with directly with consultants, clients, and authorities.

• Strong technical knowledge in geo, civil structural, pre-cast and steel works, construction methods is an advantage.

• Proficient in reporting, documentation, and familiar with green building initiatives (e.g., GBI, LEED) is an advantage.
