Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, development, and delivery of scalable web applications using React Native for Web

• Design and implement maintainable, high-performance, and accessible user interfaces

• Write clean, modular, and reusable code in JavaScript/TypeScript, following modern React and React Native for Web best practices

• Conduct in-depth code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, performance benchmarks, and UI consistency

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and implement features

• Guide the team through technical challenges, providing mentorship and support to developers at various levels

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to rendering, state management, and cross-platform consistency

• Drive technical decisions and contribute to establishing the team’s engineering culture, tooling, and workflows

• Stay up to date with advancements in React, React Native for Web, frontend tooling, and related technologies

What would you need?

• Minimum 5 years experience developing web applications with React Native (for Web) & JavaScript/TypeScript

• Proven leadership in guiding and mentoring teams in a technical capacity

• Solid understanding of modern frontend architecture, state management, and web performance

• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)

• Familiarity with backend APIs, integration, and testing best practice

• A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of code quality, structure, and scalability

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

• Citizenship: Malaysian, Singaporean, or European - due to project requirements.
