About the role

As a Quality Technician at J.K. Wire Harness Sdn. Bhd., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the production of high-quality wire harness products at our manufacturing facility in Johor Bahru, Johor. This full-time position is vital in upholding our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

• 7, Jalan Firma 2/2, Kawasan Perindustrian Tebrau 1, 81100 Johor Bahru, Johor Darul Ta'zim

2) Rengit Branch:-

• PTD 4086, Jln Pontian - Batu Pahat, 83100 Rengit, Johor Darul Ta'zim

What you'll be doing

• New component / material development (New purchase & new localize)

  1. To execute and monitor now component / material quality verification activity,

  2. New component / material testing.

  3. New component / material master sample,

  4. To report new component / material development performance Group Leader,

• Supplier control and development program

  1. To execute and monitor supplier development program.

  2. To support in execution of Second Party Audit.

• Hazardous substances control.

  1. To execute and monitor hazardous substance control system.

  2. To request, monitor and follow up material test report from supplier.

  3. To request, monitor and follow up SoC, ROHS, ELV, ICP test report from supplier. 3,4 To request, monitor and follow up Material Data Sheet (MDS - IMDS) from supplier.

  4. To report hazardous substances control performance Group Leader

What we're looking for

• Diploma or certificate in a relevant field such as Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering, or a similar discipline

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably within the manufacturing industry

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address quality issues proactively

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

• Proficiency in using quality control tools and software, such as statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems
