The Senior Panel Assembly Supervisor is responsible for managing the assembly department for LV switchboards, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with customer specifications, IEC 61439 requirements, and company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Department Leadership

· Lead and supervise panel assembly teams responsible for MSB, SSB, MCC

· Coordinate assembly schedules with engineering, testing, and project teams.

· Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.

Technical Oversight

· Review General Arrangement (GA) drawings, wiring schematics, and assembly instructions.

· Ensure proper installation of ACBs, MCCBs, busbars, and control devices.

· Resolve technical and production issues efficiently.

Operational Excellence

· Improve assembly processes and productivity.

· Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Manage department resources and manpower planning.

Quality & Compliance

· Ensure compliance with IEC 61439 and company quality procedures.

· Support routine verification, FAT, and customer inspections.

· Maintain safe work practices and housekeeping standards.

Requirements

· Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

· Minimum 8 years experience in switchboard manufacturing.

· Minimum 3 years experience managing assembly teams.

· Strong understanding of LV power distribution systems.

· Experience with large-scale commercial, industrial, and data centre switchboard projects is an advantage.

· Strong leadership, communication, and project coordination skills.

· On-time project completion ≥95%.

· First-pass quality acceptance ≥98%.

· Rework rate ≤2%.

· Labour productivity achievement.

· Customer complaint reduction.

· Safety and 5S compliance.
