Job Title: ASSEMBLY & TESTING TECHNICIAN (TEST STAND)

Position Summary

The Assembly & Testing Technician (Test Stand) performs assembly, setup, inspection, and testing work on mechanical components in a manufacturing environment. This role uses tools, fixtures, and test equipment to assemble parts, run tests, check results, and make sure products meet requirements. The position requires good hand skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow drawings, work instructions, and test procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, fixtures, and production equipment.

• Set up and operate test stands and other test equipment by following approved work instructions and procedures.

• Perform product testing such as pressure, flow, spray, and other required checks.

• Read and follow technical drawings and work instructions.

• Record test results, inspection findings, and other required information accurately.

• Help improve efficiency by following standard work practices and reducing delays or rework.

• Perform daily routine care and basic upkeep of equipment as required and keep the work area clean, safe, and organized at all times.

• Ensure tools and equipment are in good condition, properly maintained, and within calibration requirements.

• Support team improvement and workplace organization activities.

• Carry out other related tasks as needed at other work areas as required.

• Follow company safety rules, procedures, and workplace requirements.

• Wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) for assigned tasks.

• Follow work instructions, test procedures, drawings, and quality requirements for every job.

• Check equipment calibration status before use and report any issues immediately.

• Inspect work carefully and make sure parts and test results meet required standards.

• Report any safety, quality, equipment, or process concerns promptly.

• Support team improvement and workplace organization activities

Qualifications

• Diploma, advanced diploma, higher diploma, graduate diploma, or similar technical qualification in mechanical engineering, aviation engineering, or a related field.

• Experience in assembly, testing, manufacturing, or technical production work with experience working with tools, fixtures, and test equipment.

• Ability to read and follow technical drawings, work instructions, and test procedures.

• Good hand skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow procedures consistently.

• Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.

• Willingness to learn, follow procedures, and support team goals.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed in a manufacturing or test environment.

• Regular use of hand tools, fixtures, measuring tools, and test equipment is required.

• May involve exposure to mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment.

• Must follow all safety requirements and wear required PPE at all times during work
