Role: Quality Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
- Promote good housekeeping practices and ensure safe work procedures are consistently followed within the work area.
- Identify and promptly report any safety hazards or violations to the immediate superior.
- Perform sampling, inspections, and testing in accordance with established quality standards and procedures.
- Conduct quality inspections and testing on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of all inspections and testing activities.
- Report quality non-conformances promptly and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Maintain and ensure Standard Reference Samples are updated and properly controlled.
- Support product complaint investigations and the resolution of quality deviations and non-conformities.
- Issue quality notifications to relevant stakeholders for any identified quality deviations or non-conforming products.
- Lead and supervise Quality Technicians, Quality Inspectors, and Quality Assistants in monitoring and maintaining product quality.
- Plan and manage work schedules to ensure adequate quality coverage across assigned workstations.
- Approve the release of conforming materials and products while rejecting non-conforming materials and products in accordance with quality procedures.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, GMP, Halal, and other applicable quality and regulatory standards.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.
- Provide operational support by assuming delegated responsibilities during the temporary absence of team members or as assigned by Management.
Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Minimum SPM or Diploma in Science or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Quality within a manufacturing environment.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to guide and motivate a quality team.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
