About the role

You Teck Frozen Food Sdn Bhd is seeking an HR & Admin Executive to join our growing team in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our human resources and administrative functions. As HR & Admin Executive, you will be instrumental in helping to build and maintain a positive workplace culture whilst ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role bridges the gap between strategic HR initiatives and day-to-day operational needs, making it essential to the success of our organisation.

Key responsibilities

1. Assisting with recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding of new employees

2. Supporting the administration of employee records, payroll documentation, and personnel files in compliance with relevant regulations

3. Assisting with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures

4. Preparing HR reports and documentation as required by management

5. Monitor and maintain a register of all company licenses, permits, tenancy agreements, and related statutory documents.

6. Ensure timely renewal of business licenses, permits, registrations, and certifications to prevent lapses or non-compliance.

7. Track tenancy agreement expiry dates and coordinate renewals, extensions, or terminations with landlords and relevant stakeholders.

8. Liaise with government authorities, landlords, property management offices, legal representatives, and internal departments regarding renewal matters.

9. Ensure all licenses and tenancy agreements remain valid and comply with applicable regulations and company policies.

10. Liaise with account department, auditor and tax agent for related matters.

What we're looking for

1. A diploma or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

2. 2-4 years of experience in an HR or administrative role, ideally in a manufacturing, food production, or similar operational environment

3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word

4. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Bahasa Malaysia

6. A professional and courteous demeanour with strong interpersonal skills

7. Knowledge of Malaysian employment law and regulations

8. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling confidential information

9. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the organisation

10. Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying improvements

11. Familiarity with HR information systems or HRIS platforms is advantageous

12. Experience in a manufacturing or food industry setting is preferred but not essential
